My favourite game

Hi people!

We had a nice little meet-up this week, and we saw lots of long-running projects coming along nicely.
We saw the beginnings of another stuffed torus toy, this time in the form of a snail. We saw a pair of socks with a very intricate-looking texture beginning to take shape. We saw a whole range of cardigans - we had a small-person cardigan, a baby cardigan with pretty scalloped edges, and the finishing touches being put to a wraparound cardigan. We also got to see some more of the recycled carrier bag scarfs, which apparently are attracting lots of attention in fashion circles down in london!

Hope you're all having a good week, and look forward to knitting with you again
soon :o)
Hugh.

Knit, don't freeze

Hey people :o)

We had a cozy little knitting session this week, and a good mix of new people and regulars.
We also had a range of projects, including a (slightly) lacy baby cardigan, a moss- and rib-stitched jumper, a continuing pair of socks, a funky fluffy scarf made from a mixture of yarns, a pair of fingerless gloves, and a pair of shawls, one looking delicate and green, the other bright and multicoloured.
Stranger projects included a scarf knitted from carrier bags, a horse grooming mit knitted from baling twine and a cushion cover made up of crochet and leather patches.

Hope you all had a good time, and see you all soon :o)
Hugh.
