Metropolitan knitting

Well, yesterday evening we all went to give Metropole a visit, down Newington way. We did some impromptu furniture rearranging, drank some rather elaborate hot chocolate, and did some knitting, some crochet, and even some weaving!
Projects included the beginnings of a very cool lacy shawl, an alpaca hat knit perfect for highland-visiting, and some awesome geological weaving been done on a little hand-loom. I'm also still excited that my mint tea was made with real mint, and also discovered that the library is open right up to knitting-time on wednesday evenings!

We also decided that next week we'll go back to Caffe Lucano for a second visit, so I'll make sure everyone gets reminded of that before then.
